PRESIDENT' TURN

The club will have an exhibit of Turned Pieces at the Mims- Scottsmore Library for the month of June. The display case is quite a bit smaller than the one at the Titusville library so the pieces should be small and we will only have room for about 12-15 items. Please bring your piece to the May meeting . The cove tool that Paul Pouliot made and demonstrated turning a handle at the last meeting will be raffled off at the May meeting. We will sell ticket at $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. This is a great little tool and since Paul has signed it, the value has increased substantially as it is now a collector's item!!! We will sell tickets at the April meeting and up to the break at the May meeting. When the sale will end at the till will be raffled off after the demo. This is a good way to raise money for the club and someone will end up with a very useful tool.

I have applied for the $800 part of the EOG. I hope it arrives by the April meeting. All new members look for your name tags on the table at the April meeting. I wish everything worked as well as getting name tags! I ordered them on Monday and they were shipped on Tuesday! Great service at a good price.

Good Turning, I will see you on the 15th.
